Dr. Sobotka M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C. helps Madeleine Board of Directors and executive management through his understanding as a physician and drug development specialist, like Darlene and John, the complexities of tackling cardiorenal disease with cost efficient and clear, obtainable objectives. Paul’s expertise keeps Madeleine’s goals probable. He additionally serves as CSO for Rox Medical and is an Advisor of Ardelyx, Inc. He has served as CMO of Ardian, Inc., and CHF Solutions Inc., as well as a member of Scientific Advisory Board at Ablative Solutions, Inc., and Sorbent Therapeutics, Inc., and as Executive Medical Director and Senior Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs at Merck Pharmaceuticals. He has held several positions at academic institutions and hospitals throughout the U.S. Paul is certified by both the Boards of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. He has completed training courses at Merck University, the Harvard School of Public Health, Wharton School of Business Academic Leadership Programs, an internship and residency at the University of Michigan and received postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases at Northwestern University. He received his Bachelor's degree from Stanford University and his Medical degree from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. He has complemented this with Healthcare Administration training at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard School of Public Health.
